In 2026, the Town is investing in road and sidewalk improvements across the community as part of its approved Capital Plan. These projects support safe, reliable transportation, extend the life of existing infrastructure, and respond to growth and changing needs.

Beginning early April, the Contractor will mobilize to start the Wellington Street Reconstruction Project. The project will consist of the following works:
- The replacement of the sanitary sewer & watermain
- The installation of storm drainage/ infiltration systems
- The replacement of road base & asphalt
- The installation of a new sidewalk

2026 Sidewalk Program
Sidewalk was installed on Arlington south of River St in 2025. Outstanding deficiency work will be completed in 2026.
