Beginning Monday, April 28, the contractor for the Goderich Street Resurfacing project will mobilize a secondary crew to start Phase 3. This phase will extend from Ivings Drive to Concession 6 and includes asphalt resurfacing, storm sewer upgrades and water distribution system improvements.

This work will be completed by an additional crew and as such does not pull any resources from the critical downtown intersection work.

• Traffic flow will be maintained at all times throughout the construction project, with no detours required despite any lane restrictions.
• April 28 – May 5: The westernmost southbound lane will be closed to traffic.
• May 6 – May 16: Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction adjacent to the construction zone.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Certain areas may be enclosed using modular safety fencing or barrels to ensure public safety while allowing safe passage.
• Emergency vehicle access for police, fire, and medical response will be maintained at all times.
