Proposed Levels of Service Public Information Centre #2
Saugeen Shores is completing a study to enable the Town to determine and plan for proposed levels of service. Levels of Service refers to how the Town maintains, repairs, and replaces its core and non-core assets. The current levels of service for these assets were determined in the 2024 Asset Management Plan. The next step is to determine if these levels of service meet the expectations and needs of the community.
This project aligns with Asset Management requirements set out in Ontario Regulation 588/17. The Town is working with consultants to help develop ways to measure the proposed levels of service and identify the planning steps needed to reach those service levels. This is the Town’s second Public Information Centre (PIC) for the project.
A recording of the meeting, as well as the PIC presentation materials and draft report will be made available on the project website for those unable to attend the live meeting. Printed copies of the presentation and draft report can be requested for pickup at the Municipal Office (600 Tomlinson Drive, Port Elgin) by calling 519-832-2008 x108.
