Background
The Gobles Grove playground will be replaced in the spring of 2026 as part of a 10-year Business Plan.
The Town manages close to 30 playgrounds in its parks throughout the community. Typically, a playground reaches the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced approximately 20 years after installation. The Gobles Grove playground was installed in 2009 and is due for replacement in 2026 due to high use and deterioration of the wooden structure. The new playground will be built in the same location and will be similar in overall size to the current one.
