Public Information Centre for the Community Planning Permit System and Nodes & Corridor Study
The Town of Saugeen Shores is hosting the initial Public Information Centre (PIC) for the Community Planning Permit System and Nodes & Corridors Study. This PIC will be hosted by Town staff as well as Gladki Planning Associates and Hertel Planning.
Date: Thursday, June 26th, 2025
Time: 6 pm to 8pm (Presentation and group discussions to to be conducted during the scheduled time)
Location: The Plex: Rotary Hall 600 Tomlinson Drive, Port Elgin
The session will look to cover the following:
- Introduction to the project purpose, process and timeline
- Review of previous engagement completed as part of the 2022 background study
- Planning Act 101: What is a CPPS and how is it different from the current approach
- Discussion of growth considerations, potential growth options and built form typologies
